Sago congee

One of the traditional delicacies my grandmother used to cook is sago congee. It has been a while since I've eaten it!

Recently my neighbour told me about it and she invited me to eat with her. I gladly accepted the offer!

Here is how it looks...

I love eating it with sugar! It tastes like heaven. I can't find it here in Kuantan. It was imported all the way from Sarawak by my neighbour's sister. Hope to be able to eat it again sometime soon!

Would you give it a try, people???

Fidelia...It looks like something that I would have great fun writing about! What does it taste like without the sugar?

Jen, it has no taste without the sugar! You can eat it with stew as well! Replace it with rice!!
